Electra Mining Africa 2024: Calling all forklift drivers!

Forklift Driver Competition's main sponsors are Goscor Lift Trucks and Acrow Racking and Shelving.

Entries for the Lifting Africa and LEEASA’s Forklift Driver Competition, taking place at Electra Mining Africa 2024, from 2 – 6 September 2024, Nasrec, Johannesburg, are now open. The competition aims to promote safety and efficiency in forklift driving and recognise and reward highly skilled and safety conscious operators. Entry is free, and all participants must possess a valid forklift license. The winner will receive a trophy and a cash prize and be crowned the Forklift Driver Champion!

Lifting Africa and LEEASA (Lifting Equipment Engineering Association of SA) urge businesses to enter their skilled employees in this renowned competition and reward and recognise them for their skills, hard work and dedication. Forklift operators can also nominate themselves by completing a simple online entry form.

Sponsored by Goscor Lift Trucks, Acrow Racking and Shelving, Worldwide Load Testing Specialist, tib Insurance, RFDIGI, and Advanced Logistics, the Forklift Driver of the Year competition is a fantastic way for warehouses, distribution centres and manufacturing centres to position themselves as leaders in forklift safety and efficiency. The Competition is also endorsed by CILTSA (The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) and RFA (Road Freight Association).
